How many different 3 digit numbers can you make from the digits 1, 1 and 3. You can use each digit as many times as you like.

    Usually it would be 3!(If you don't understand search up the label 'combinatorics') but you are repeating the 1 so you need to divide it by 2! which is 2. 6/2 = 3
