Jeff in the cinema

Jeff goes to the cinema. He buys a ticket for £5.75, popcorn for £1.50 and a drink for 76p. His return train fare is £3.80. If he leaves home with a £20 note how much change does he return with?

    If we do 5.75 +1.50 + 0.76 we get 8.01. Now we can do 20 - 8.01 = 11.99
